Talking Life Training completed the acquisition of In-Trac Training & Consultancy Ltd on 31st March 2023.
As a provider of training to the Health and Social Care sector for over 25 years, Talking Life provides high-quality training to Children’s and Adults’ Social Care Authorities, NHS Trusts and many other areas of the Public Sector, working with some of the UK’s leading trainers. Talking Life shares the same values and ethos as In-Trac and its inspirational founder Jane Wonnacott.
Jane Wonnacott and Tony Morrison – 4 x 4 x 4 Model
In-Trac’s founder, the inspirational social worker and Consultant Jane Wonnacott co-wrote, with the late Tony Morrison, the Children’s Workforce Development Council’s Guide and training programme for the supervisors of social workers in the first three years of their professional development.
In-Trac’s model for Supervision training is the Integrated Model (colloquially known as the 4x4x4 model of supervision), based on the work of Tony Morrison and Jane Wonnacott.
In-Trac believes that a whole system approach is necessary for the delivery of effective supervision, with senior managers engaged in establishing the supervision culture and expressing this through a clear policy statement which includes a clear commitment to delivering effective supervision throughout the organisation.
An important part of this approach is ongoing development opportunities for supervisors and regular opportunities for them to reflect on their practice.
